Vol 29 - No 05 - July/August 2003 Institute news: National Occupational Standards Chris Salmon has been appointed as Project Consultant to a working partnership between the Institute of Operations Management, the Institute of Export, the Institute of Logistics and Transport, and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, in association with the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority and the Scottish Qualifications Authority. Designated The POLEMICS Project, its aim is the development of world class National Occupational Standards for international trade and services and supply chain management into the third millennium, and is expected to officially launch in July, 2003.
