Vol 29 - No 06 - September 2003 London & Southern Branch: The second Don Ralston lecture and dinner Held at the Woodlands Park Hotel, Cobham on 2nd July, this event attracted 20 members and guests despite a very heavy rainfall during the Wimbledon tennis fortnight. The evening was a joint event between IOM's London and Southern Branch and the Alliance of Business Consultants (ABC). We were all pleased to meet Don and his wife again. Rod Jones, CEO of Proactis Group Ltd, gave a controversial presentation structured around his career from shop floor at CAV Lucas, via Ross Systems and Venture Capital, to his current position as CEO in a small company providing spend control software for SMEs.
