Alternatively, you can contact the Chief Executive, Julie Taylor, at iom@iomnet.org.uk Geoff trained as a Mechanical Engineer, but whilst working at Rolls Royce Cars in the 70’s found the challenge of production and inventory control far more consuming. After working at Crosfields and GEC Marconi, Geoff started a long career at IBM. Here he managed the Inventory for their award winning manufacturing plant in Havant, Hampshire, before moving on to a successful role in consultancy. In 2002, Geoff left IBM to set up Inventory Matters Limited and, using his considerable experience in the supply chain, specialises in providing practitioner based consultancy in manufacturing planning, control and inventory management for clients in a diverse range of industries, including automotive, FMGC, machinery, aircraft equipment.
