National events: People and Change Workshop“It is not the intellectual that survives, but the one that is best able to adapt to the changing environments”-Charles Darwin
We now have at our disposal advanced planning and scheduling systems, sophisticated technology to capture and transfer data and a global body of knowledge. Yet companies still struggle to realise the full potential of their supply chain and systems. Implementations are late, gains are not sustained and customers are disappointed.
In this workshop, run on behalf of the IOM by Derek Thomason of Sofard Ltd and Unipart Solutions Practice, delegates will have the opportunity to address these issues by:
- Understanding how they prefer to lead and what others need in times of change;
- Gaining an insight into the elements needed to ‘sell’change initiatives;
- Learning practical tools and approaches to help them implement sustainable changes faster and with less pain;
- Understanding how to implement change ‘the Unipart Way’;
- Sharing the experience of others;
- Networking across industry sectors.
The programme is as follows:
- Welcome (coffee and breakfast)
- Transitional Leadership (presentation)
- Understanding communications and change (presentation and exercises)
- Lunch and exhibition
- Driving improvements the Unipart way
- Afternoon break (coffee and cakes)
- Expending the relationship – working across company boundaries
- Delegates questions answered.
The event will take place at The Unipart University, Cowley, Oxford and will cost £45.00 for members and £60.00 for non-members.
