Institute news : National CommitteesOn this note, the Institute would also welcome new members for our National Committees, particularly Events, Short Courses and Editorial.
- The Editorial Committee is responsible for producing ‘Control’. The journal aims to promote the profession, as well as develop the knowledge and understanding of the subject.
- The Events Committee aims to provide a programme of events that extends and promotes the operations management knowledge base, providing an outlet for both pioneering work and best practice. The events should enhance the member’s professional development, promote the status of the Institute and encourage membership growth.
- The Short Courses Committee aims to provide members with the opportunity to attend high quality, cost effective programmes at all stages of their career progression. The Committee seeks to ensure that the topics and course content evolve to meet changes in business needs and members’ requirements.
