Vol 26 - No 01 - February 2000

Member news: Ian Walker, MIOM

Ian Walker, a member since 1968 has recently retired from his stock control/logistics systems position with Rover Group and has set up his own company to develop a suite of Windows based systems.

His main claim to fame was a 'to-the-minute materials scheduling system' that balanced customer service with inventory performance. It was well known as Timed Delivery Scheduling (TDS).

He is now going to relax and do whatever Stock Control work comes his way from a boat he is buying - down in sleepy Cornwall. And what fun the internet is!
