This article intends to identify how the tools required to

manage a traditional process supply chain are changing in the light of the continuing rapid development of technology and subsequent customer and supplier requirements for supply chain management... First of all we must understand how traditional supply chains and relevant technology to support these were (and majority still are) structured. Then we can explore how the supply chain is rapidly developing given the lifting of technology constraints and the tools available to support customer and supplier expectations...
