Vol 28 - No 02 - March 2002 New Honorary Fellow Don Ralston was presented with his certificate for Honorary Fellowship of the Institute at the London Branch meeting on 6th February by the Institute's Honorary Secretary following the decision of the Institute's Council to make this award to Don. Duncan Pummell reminded the meeting that the objectives of the Institute are – "to promote the science of operations and materials management with particular reference to the application of production and inventory control techniques in manufacturing and service industries for the benefit of the public and the better education and training of practitioners ……."
