IT-Enabled Lean Agility

The business environment is changing all the time and companies continuously need to adapt to new, emerging commercial pressures which are getting tougher all the time.

Survival in the current competitive environment demands all the skill and enthusiasm we can muster from our employees at all levels. In the 1970's the business performance focus was on material control. IBM had 'invented' Material Requirements Planning. Implementing effective MRP, and subsequently MRPII, was the name of the game. For some the benefits were huge, for others the consequent losses equally so.
