How to improve the success of your IT investments

This article suggests that IT solutions don't deliver their promises due to user requirements being poorly specified and failure to address a number of non - IT related issues during the life cycle of the project. It proposes that if users have more involvement and take ownership of IT projects combined with a 'systematic' approach, that many of the pitfalls can be avoided. Finally, a methodology that supports this approach is described.
